Down Syndrome Alabama is honored to partner with the National Down Syndrome Congress to host Alabama's statewide Educators' Conference. This one-day conference will bring together educators, administrators, therapists, paraprofessionals, future educators, and school leaders from across Alabama to learn practical, research-based strategies that improve outcomes for students with Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This one-day conference is designed to educate, encourage, and empower families of individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities by providing practical tools, evidence-based information, and meaningful resources that support individuals across every stage of life.
We welcome presentation proposals from professionals, self-advocates, parents and caregivers, educators, therapists, medical providers, attorneys, financial professionals, researchers, and community leaders who are passionate about improving the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.

More than a conference, this event represents an investment in Alabama classrooms, inclusive education, workforce readiness, and student success. By supporting this conference, sponsors help equip educators with tools and strategies that can make an immediate impact in schools across the state.
Practical in nature, this conference will engage participants in identifying and implementing strategies applicable to K-12 classrooms.
