Join us for a summer day of adventure, discovery, and connection at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. From rockets to hands-on experiences, this family outing is sure to inspire wonder in all ages. Children (Ages 5-17) with Down syndrome enter FREE (must register here) and can be accompanied by one adult at no cost. Tickets for all other family members, friends, etc., are $32.
Join DSA for an unforgettable day of discovery at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville! Families will explore one of Alabama’s most iconic attractions through interactive exhibits, hands-on learning, and space-themed adventures for all ages.
Your day includes access to:
- International Space Station exhibit
- Rocket Park, Shuttle Park & Military Park
- Planetarium show (Our Place in Space)
- Hands-on STEM lab experience, including mini rocket launches
- Exciting astronaut training simulators (height requirements apply)
- Guided tour experience through exhibit spaces
Date: Saturday, June 27 | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Cost: Children (Ages 5-17) with Down syndrome enter FREE (must register here) and can be accompanied by one adult at no cost. Tickets for all other family members, friends, etc., are $32.
Lunch: Families may bring lunch or purchase food onsite.
