Join us for a summer day of adventure, discovery, and connection at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. From rockets to hands-on experiences, this family outing is sure to inspire wonder in all ages. Individuals with Down syndrome enter FREE (must register here) and can be accompanied by one adult at no cost. Tickets for all other family members, friends, etc., are $32.

Join DSA for an unforgettable day of discovery at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville! Families will explore one of Alabama’s most iconic attractions through interactive exhibits, hands-on learning, and space-themed adventures for all ages.

Your day includes access to:

  • ISS: Science on Orbit (International Space Station)
  • Rocket Park
  • Military Park
  • Shuttle Park
  • G-force Accelerator – must be 48” tall – “astronaut training simulation/gravity experiment)
  • Moon Shot – must be 54” tall – interactive simulation to feel what a real rocket launch is like
  • Intuitive Planetarium Show – voted one of 10 best in US by USA TODAY
  • 1-HOUR hands-on lab – either water filtration or rocket fuel

Date: Saturday, July 18 | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM 

Cost: Individuals with Down syndrome enter FREE (must register here) and can be accompanied by one adult at no cost. Tickets for all other family members, friends, etc., are $32.

Lunch: Families may bring lunch or purchase food onsite.
