Join Down Syndrome Alabama for a day created specifically for families!

The Raising the Bar Family Summit will bring together parents, caregivers, self-advocates, professionals, and experts for a full day of learning, connection, and practical support. Sessions will provide families of individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities with trusted information, helpful resources, and real-world strategies they can use throughout every stage of life.

Topics will span the lifespan, with opportunities to learn about areas such as early childhood, education and IEPs, health and wellness, behavior, advocacy, transition, employment, independence, financial and legal planning, and adulthood.

Whether you are preparing to welcome a new baby, navigating the school years, planning for adulthood, or somewhere in between, the Family Summit is designed to help you feel informed, connected, and better equipped for what comes next.
